Shuten-dōji

Demon King of Mount Oe
01Lore
Shuten-dōji: The most famous yokai (demon) in Japanese lore. Said to dwell in Mount Ōe, he was once human, but became a demon king after drinking divine sake. Leading Ibaraki-dōji and others, he abducted nobles and princesses, terrorizing Kyoto. Minamoto no Yorimitsu, disguised as a monk, infiltrated the lair, got Shuten-dōji drunk with divine sake, and beheaded him. Legend says his head flew up and bit Yorimitsu's helmet before dying. His skull was later sealed at the "Kubizuka" mound, believed to guard Tokyo's northeastern gate.

Demon King's Domain
At the start of combat and every 12 seconds afterwards, a Demon Tent is generated (can lose up to 50% max HP during its duration), lasting 7 seconds and cannot be dispelled. Each time this unit receives or deals damage, it gains 1 [Drunken Will] stack. When reaching 20 stacks, [Demon King’s Domain] is launched. [Drunken Will]: Capped at 20 stacks, each increasing all allies’ reflect rate by 1.2(3)%. Cannot be dispelled. [Demon King’s Domain]: Grants immunity to all control effects, restores 2(5)% max HP per second, and deals physical skill damage equal to 2(5)% max HP per second to enemies within range. [Drunken Will] cannot be gained during this period; 2 stacks are lost per second while active.
03 Oni Gourd Sacrament
Oni Gourd: Made from millennium-old peach wood struck by lightning. Its mouth is inlaid with blood jade and tied with demon fingernails. When opened, it emits black mist, draining life force and glowing red when full of blood. At Mt. Ōe, it was used to imprison defeated oni generals. Later, it was sealed by Minamoto no Yorimitsu through poisoned sake, greatly weakening its powers.
